Model stitching, etc.

In the last 2 weeks, I finished 2 models and they've both made it "home" to the designers.  It's always a good feeling when I find out that they made it home safely.  One hasn't been released yet but I can show you the other.

"Welcome Spring" by Victorian Motto Sampler Shoppe

Nancy designs some gorgeous samplers and also dyes floss, fabric, buttons, and trims.  You can find her at:

Victorian Motto Sampler Shoppe blog or
Victorian Motto Sampler Shoppe store

The other model hasn't yet been released but I'll be sure to show you when it does.

I have another model on the way.  Fun!

In the meantime, since I'm in a Halloween mood, I'm working on this little piece by Stitches of Old (Kathleen Finn).  A little big for an ornament but I think it would make a cute stand-up.

I'm a Longmire fan and was disappointed to read that the series was canceled by A+E.  The producers are "shopping it around" to other networks and I'm crossing my fingers that someone picks it up.  In the meantime, I started reading the book series by Craig Johnson...not necessarily in order yet.  I just finished Kindness Goes Unpunished and enjoyed it.  (I saw the TV's versions of the characters in my imagination while reading it.)

I'm a college football fan and am looking forward to watching both the Ohio State and the UT (Texas) games today.  At least I think I'll be able to see both on TV here this week.  They both had disappointing losses last week so I hope today is a better day for them.  I'll help by wearing the appropriate T-shirts during the games.

GO BUCKS!!
HOOK 'EM HORNS!!

Happy stitching!

Thanks for wearing your Buckeye shirt. What a difference a week makes!

Your stitching is beautiful. Must be a thrill to watch one of Nancy's designs come to life for the very first time.
