Welcome to my pity party

I'm no stranger to back pain but usually it's in my lower back, left side.  I can deal with that...usually.  This week I'm having some muscle spasms in the thoracic area of my back, right side....pain is more intense than usual.  It's not too bad during the day (except when I get a sudden owie if I move the wrong way) but at night it's keeping me from sleeping.

I don't know what I did to cause it but whatever I did.....I really DID it.  :-(

Whine, whine, whine!!!!!

On the stitching front.....I'm working on a new CCN model (top secret!) and finished a beverage themed block for an exchange.

The block is from a freebie by Kincavel Krosses.

I'd like to say I'm also working on the sal of the LK Fat Guys and Snow Belles....but after stitching most of one of the blocks (and probably feeling too full of myself), I discovered that the whole block is off by one stitch.  I'll be frogging....way more than I want to (although there's no amount of frogging I like to do).

Whine, whine, whine!!!

Soon to be frogged.......

I'm off for some more meds and a hot pack on my back.  Maybe I should have some wine.  ;-)

Happy stitching!

Rita

Oh, don't frog him! Can't you adjust the pattern in some other manner??? He's so cute!

Sorry to hear you are feeling pain! You described my lower back pain to a T. Lower left. Should you go to a chiro and get crunched?? Hope you are feeling better soon!

Bummer about the frogging - I hate it when I make errors. Can you fudge it? Just add an extra row of border? It is really cute.

I hope that your back gets better really soon. Heat packs always work a treat.

I tried SalonPas patches for my last backache and they worked great! Your snowman is really cute - I feel bad that you have to do so much ripping out!

Oh no! Do you really have to frog that block? Is there a way to fake it? Such a shame! :( Sorry about your back too. Hope it gets better soon. Cute espresso block!

I agree with all the comments! Can't you just add a row to the border maybe on the top where you need to and inside the bottom if that is where it belongs! So sorry about your back!! I know how miserable that can be!

I agree with the others...can you fudge it somehow? Would be a shame to have to frog that beautiful stitching! Hope you're feeling better and painfree soon!

Thanks, everyone! I put the snow one aside for now b/c I need some distance...and also b/c I need to devote my stitching time now to model stitching.

I'll decide later what to do about the snowman block.

I'm happy to report that after lots of heat (hot shower, heating pad, heating "sticker" last night) that the back pain is decreasing. I'll take it easy today too.

Thanks, everyone! :-)
