Sorry for not posting for a while.
I thought it would be a good idea to show you why I'm not stitching much lately. This is DS's HS marching band for which I spend most of my waking hours volunteering for during marching season.
Their show this year is called "Up in the Air" and they've been working very hard at practices. They competed in their second contest last weekend and made 7th place. We're hoping they make it to be able to compete in State competition in Nov. (We have 2 more contests before that.)
My DS is playing the smallest bass drum and is bass drum captain this year.

It sounds like you are keeping as busy as I am! My son isn't in band, but he's in Boy Scouts, and he's very involved in that, and I've recently signed up to be on the committee!

Oh, how I remember the hard work of preparing for band competition. However, going to the competition was sooo much fun!! I know your DS is enjoying every moment. Goodluck in November!!
