A Weary World Rejoices
Please pardon the poor lighting on the picture. I really enjoyed stitching this one and LOVE the colors. It's "A Weary World Rejoices" by Shakespeare's Peddler. I found myself singing to myself as I stitched this.
I will frame it..eventually. (There are several others ahead of this one in the framing line.)
I picked up another wip (autumn theme) to work on but am itching to start Moira Blackburn's Three Stitches soon.
I'm exhausted from working with DS's marching band but it's such a rewarding activity. I LOVE their music this year...the ballad section almost makes me cry by its beauty.
Good news! DS's cast came off this week and he's started PT. He has a bit of work ahead of him increasing his strength and flexibility but he's young and active so I'm sure he'll do fine.

great news about your son getting his cast off....yeah!!
It took me a moment to realize what song to sing, but finally I caught the tune in my head while repeating the words, just a little slow LOL. Beautiful piece.
Great job on the finish! I did that one a few years ago and get it out each holiday season! Hope your Son does well at PT!
What a beautiful finish! I love it! Good luck to your son with PT. So cool that you're working with DS's marching band too. Cooool!
Hello
Just found your blog.
A beautiful finish!
Beautiful finish, Rita! As I come out of my slump I feel like I'm waking up from having amnesia and remembering all of the things I had wanted to stitch. That is definitely one of them! LOL Lovely finish! Great news about your DS's cast! I hope the PT goes well.
It looks fantastic Rita, very pretty. I haven't worked on my Three Things in many weeks. My stitching Mojo seems to be on vacation. I have a 4 day weekend now, so hoping to find it again. Take care of yourself and let me know when marching band is done and you begin Three Things.
