Small Friday update

First off, thank you for all your concern over my back spasms of last week.  I'm happy to report that I'm feeling a LOT better.

I'm making good progress on the CCN model;  it's another cute one!  Sorry, top secret, though.  I'm hoping to finish this week and then get back to the snowmen...and maybe start a sampler just because I'm in the mood to stitch a sampler.

We're still enjoying some cooler weather down here in SE TX so I've been cooking.  I tried out another Ina Garten recipe, Chicken Stew with Biscuits.  It was very tasty!  DS had 2 bowls of it...he's pretty thin and nobody would believe how much he can eat until they see him in action.  lol!  Not exactly "health food" but can eat this stuff once in while.

Here's mine:

Here's the link to Ina's (She doesn't know it but she and I are on a first name basis now.):

Happy stitching!!!  (...and eating)

Oh, that looks yummy! It's healthy - I see peas and carrots. :)

Glad to hear your back is feeling better - nothing like back spasms to make a girl feel icky!

lol! I like the way you think...re the peas and carrots.

I think that will be my story and I'll be sticking to it. (I won't tell you about all the butter in there.)

Looks so good.
It's the right food for our colder weather we are having.

I've been enjoying our cooler weather, Joyce. Some of the native Texans around here look at me like I'm crazy. lol! I guess you can't take the Midwest out of me. :-)

We're really going to have to make an effort to get together sometime.

I must say Rita, that your chicken and biscuits look so good, and better than the ones shown in the recipe itself. I really need to try that one.

So glad your back is better. I went through the same thing years and years ago, and can remember how painful it was. Stay well girlfriend!
